Use the duration of the actual content
A provider’s duration for a particular session describes that published content. It does not automatically include your setup, reading, pauses, or cleanup. A program-length label also describes a different quantity from the time needed for one session. Keep those figures in separate fields.
Add your own preparation estimate
Write an estimate for opening the content, arranging the setup, and learning unfamiliar instructions. Label it as yours. After using the resource, record what happened and adjust the planning estimate. The weekly planner makes these assumptions visible rather than presenting them as verified provider timings.
Inspect how the selected content is accessed
Find out whether the exact session or program is available in continuing access, temporary trial access, or a paid offer. Check account requirements, devices, and any documented download or offline behavior. A visible preview is not proof that the complete program remains available without payment.
Plan from the verified requirement and your availability
Choose a time slot only after inspecting the content and setup. If the total does not fit, choose another documented option or change the plan rather than inventing a shortened version of a program. This is scheduling guidance, not a recommendation about training volume or personal health suitability.
Content duration versus a planning slot
Original hypothetical example
Hypothetical timing: a reader records a published session length of 20 minutes, then estimates 8 minutes for setup and reading and 5 minutes for cleanup. Their planning slot is 33 minutes. Only the 20-minute content length would be a provider fact if documented; the other figures are personal assumptions.
